UBC has come out with some Application Tips for navigating through their process. It's got practical information for applying to universities and post-secondaries as well. Check out the video, and also try visiting their site: http://you.ubc.ca/admissions/how-to-apply/ubcs-online-application/?utm_source=ezrecruit&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=awards-reminder#tips
Want to learn more about UBC's Engineering programs? Check out their open house on November 28th. See poster for details. Open to anyone! If you're hoping to attend a BC post-secondary in September of 2016 they will need your grades. That means you need to complete your Post Secondary Institution form - commonly referred to as PSIs. You should do this NOW even if you're near the beginning of your course as you'll have to do it eventually anyhow. I've attached information about how to do it right here. See the attachment.
Curious what grades make the grade for various universities? Only some release it, but here's what we know... University of Alberta - http://admissions.ualberta.ca/requirements/averages.aspx University of Victoria - http://www.uvic.ca/future-students/undergraduate/admissions/self-reporting/index.php University of Simon Fraser - https://www.sfu.ca/students/admission-requirements/admission-averages.html University of British Columbia - http://you.ubc.ca/admissions/canadian-highschools/required-grades/ I've added a section to the Counselling Resources specifically for information around BC's biggest three universities and exactly what is required. The short answer is... LOTS. Make sure you check it carefully, follow up with additional program requirements if there are, and ask me if you're stuck on anything.
